Cranberry Relish

This is great with turkey and any white meat. It’s also good over a block of cream cheese and served with crackers.

Ingredients

  • 2 bags Cranberries, Rinsed
  • 1 Orange, peal and all
  • 1/2 c. sugar (to taste)
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Wash cranberries, discarding brown, old berries
  2. Wash orange, cut in wedges discarding seeds.
  3. Run Cranberries and Orange through a food processor or blender.
  4. Add to bowl. 
  5. If there are big pieces of Orange peel, remove from bowl and throw away.
  6. Add sugar (to taste) and pecans.

Mix and enjoy!

I have made this for years and have given it away as gifts when I worked and of course, to the neighbors and friends at Thanksgiving.I usually make 10-20 pounds of relish each year. It is very easily frozen and used throughout the year.
