Texas Sheet Cake

Ingredients

Cake

Step 1

• 4 T. Cocoa
• 2 sticks margarine
• 1 c. water

Place in saucepan and bring to a boil

Step 2

• 2 c. flour
• 2 c. sugar 
• 1 t. soda

Place in bowl, pour cocoa mixture over and mix well

Step 3

• 1 egg
• 1 t. vanilla
• 2 c. buttermilk

Add to bowl. Mix well.

Icing

Step 1

• 2 T. cocoa
• 1 stick margarine 
• 6 T. milk

Bring to a boil.

Step 2

• 1/4 t. vanilla
• 1 c. chopped nuts
• 1 box powdered sugar

Add to cocoa mixture. Mix well. 

Directions

Cake

Bake in jellyroll pan or cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. 

Icing

Pour over cake while warm!
