Judy’s Mom’s Best Ever Cherry Pie

Ingredients

  • ¾ c. sugar
  • 1/3 c. flour
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp. almond flavoring
  • 3½ c. frozen cherries
  • 1 T. butter
  • 2 ready pie crusts

Directions

Mix sugar and flour; add frozen cherries, thawed. 

Cook over medium heat until it thickens. 

Add cinnamon and almond flavoring. 

Pour into unbaked pie shell. 

Dot with butter and cover with top crust, with slits. 

Bake 10 min. at 425 degrees, reduce heat to 375 and bake 30 more minutes.
