Rice Krispie Crunchies

One of our families favorites, a little bit different than Grandmas.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 6 c. Rice Krispies

Directions

Cook sugar and syrup to boiling stirring often.

Remove from heat, stir in peanut butter till thoroughly mixed in.

Add Rice Krispies and mix well.

Press into buttered cookie sheet. 

Melt chocolate chips in microwave or over double boiler.

Spread on top of crunchies.

Cut into squares while still warm with buttered knife!
