Fried Mushrooms

An oldie…but I still make them every once in awhile.

Ingredients

  • 1 # fresh mushrooms, rinsed, cut in half if large
  • flour
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Coat mushrooms with flour. Fry uncovered in ½ stick butter (add as needed) for about 20 minutes, or until crunchy.

Drain on paper towel. Very rich but oh so good!
