An easy way to make donuts. If you have kids, let them decorate them!
Ingredients
Cooking Oil
Refrigerator biscuits
Powdered Sugar
Optional: icing, sprinkles
Directions
Pour cooking oil in skillet to cover bottom, cover and heat.
Separate the biscuits. Using a small glass, press a round small whole in the middle of the biscuit and save to make donut holes.
Fry ‘donuts’ in oil, turning once. Watch closely so as not to over cook.
Drain on paper towels, dip in powdered sugar. Or ice and add sprinkles.
Eat warm.
When my girls were young, we would make these when they had someone spend the night. When they got older, they wanted the 'real' donuts! But they do have memories of making these.
